Nubuck Leather

Nubuck is a top grain leather that has been lightly sanded and brushed to create a supple, velvety-like surface. The sanding process removes the top layer of the hide exposing a layer of tiny soft fibers or nap. While nubuck is most commonly compared to suede, nubuck is a strong upholstery grade leather whereas suede is produced from the bottom layer of a hide or split. Because traditional Nubuck is very susceptible to staining we have not offered this product until now. Introducing the Italia Nubuck Collection!
