Leather Hide Store is proud to offer these craft size leather scraps that are packed in a medium sized box and shipped UPS Ground. These boxes are prepackaged with approx. 5 lbs of premium leather scrap with different size pieces (typically 8-12 inches wide) and cuttings of various thickness, grain, and color with brown shades being most common. Please, note that chalk may be present on some pieces but NOT excessive. The picture is a good representation of our scrap box, but will not be the exact contents you will receive. LOTS OF GREAT LEATHER SCRAP TO WORK WITH! Standard Weight range 2.6 -2.8 oz / sq ft Thickness 1.0-1.1 mm with some heavier weight pieces possible (3.0-3.2 oz / 1.2-1.4 mm).

Because all of our cowhides are premium leather, natural markings such as brands, finished scratches/bites, and hump holes (a narrow slit along the spine) may OR may not be present. Typically, these markings are very subtle and are considered by most as the "signature" of fine leather.
